This week the boys are joined by Iain MacIntosh, football writer for ESPN FC and editor of The Set Pieces and author of ‘Football Manager Stole My Life‘. On Tuesday morning Iain joined 168¬†other hardy souls in making the 779-mile round trip to watch Carlisle United lose 4-1 away at Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League Two. Iain recounts the story of the trip, including the characters he met and the cult of the hardcore away supporter. We also read out your tweets about horror away days.

In League One, Coventry City have made a flying start to the new season. The Sky Blues have won three out of three so far – we talk to Andy Turner, Coventry City reporter at the Coventry Telegraph, to discuss Tony Mowbray, the quality of the squad he has assembled… and whether they can make a promotion push…
