Episode 145 – Who’s next for Norwich?

Neil Adams

Happy New Year! It’s the first show of 2015, with plenty to discuss.

Neil Adams has resigned as Norwich City manager, following their 2-0 defeat at League One Preston in the FA Cup third round on Saturday. Adams was in charge at Carrow Road for nine months and he leaves the club seventh in the Championship, just three points off the play-off spots. So, who will be next to take charge of the Canaries and can they still challenge for promotion? The boys are joined by Michael Bailey, sports journalist at the Eastern Daily Press, Norwich Evening News and pinkun.com, for reaction to Adams’ resignation.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United continued their Cup exploits with a 3-0 victory away at Loftus Road against Premier League QPR. The Blades, despite another stuttering League One campaign, have now beaten Villa, Fulham, Forest, Charlton, West Ham, Southampton and QPR in just over twelve months. We find out more from Sheffield United fan and ‘A United View on Football‘ blogger Ian Rands.

We also discuss the returns of Steve Clarke and Chris Hughton – plus Stuart Pearce under pressure, Snapchat sackings and the Ched Evans saga, which continues to rumble on…
