The award winning Michael Calvin (columnist for The Independent on Sunday and former sports editor of The Daily Telegraph) joined the WAGU boys in February 2014 to talk about his book on scouting, ‘The Nowhere Men: The Unknown Story of Football’s True Talent Spotters‘.

As part of our special show ‘The Truth Behind Transfers‘, Mike discusses his thoughts on the analytical approach vs. the old-school ‘feel for the game’ approach, and lifts the lid on exactly how scouts operate from week to week across the country.
