Episode 84 – Bradford bouncing back

First they upset Watford, Wigan, Arsenal and Villa en route to the Capital One Cup Final – and now, after six years stuck in the basement division of English football, Bradford City are finally on the way back.

Phil Parkinson’s side brushed aside Northampton 3-0 in the League Two playoff final last weekend at Wembley to clinch promotion. The boys speak to Tom Fletcher, one half of the fantastic Bradford podcast ‘Bantams Banter‘, to get his reaction to the greatest season in the club’s recent history.

We also take a look back at the biggest day in the history of Yeovil Town, after the Glovers beat Brentford 2-1 in the League One final to take their place in the Championship next season. Nick Bruzon from Bees United gives us his reaction after another afternoon of heartache for Uwe Rosler’s side.

We also discuss Gus Poyet’s suspension, Doncaster’s appointment of Paul Dickov – and of course preview the big game on Monday, Watford against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
