Episode 81 – The Rovers return

From agony to ecstasy in eighteen crazy seconds. The boys try and get their heads round the most unbelievable Football League finale since Jimmy Glass, as Doncaster Rovers seal their place back in the Championship courtesy of Marcello Trotta’s penalty miss and James Coppinger’s breakaway goal at Brentford.

We get the contrasting emotions of two men who were there at Griffin Park. Nick Bruzon, writer for the Brentford Programme and Bees United board member joins us – plus we speak to Glen Wilson, editor of Doncaster’s Popular Stand fanzine who was there commentating.

Following the last day drama in League Two, we also catch up with delighted AFC Wimbledon fan and writer Charlie Talbot – plus BBC Radio Sheffield and Yorkshire Radio’s Murray Burnell, after Rotherham United finally clinched promotion against Aldershot to end a six year stint in the bottom tier.

There’s also Wolves’ deepening plight to discuss, relegation for Scunthorpe, Barnet and Aldershot – the L1/L2 playoffs to preview and the big question of the week…. are Hull City choking?
