Episode 71 – League One hotting up

Loads going on – packed show this week! The WAGU boys start by catching up with Joey Crone, host of Coventry podcast ‘The Nii Lamptey Show‘, for his reaction to the departure of Mark Robins. Robins was appointed as the new Huddersfield manager during the week, and saw his side lose 4-1 to Wigan in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Another manager out of the door is Graham Westley, who was sacked by Preston on Wednesday following a run of just one win in fourteen league games. The boys discuss the decision, and following Preston’s subsequent win over Bournemouth, take a closer look at the top end of the League One table.

We also hear from Doncaster manager Brian Flynn – plus from Dom Newton-Collinge of ‘Bantams Banter‘, as Bradford City get ready for their date with destiny at Wembley in the Capital One Cup Final. There’s all that plus our reaction to the FA Cup weekend and Paul Ince’s impending arrival at Blackpool…

As ever, we’d love to hear from you and get your feedback. You can follow us on Twitter and visit the website wearegoingup.co.uk.
