Episode 67 – Can Flicker save Barnsley?

YES… Orange ball weather! The boys manage to survive the snow this week and get the lowdown on the new man in the managerial hot seat at Oakwell, David Flitcroft. Keith Hill’s old assistant has been appointed as the new Barnsley manager until the end of the season, as the Tykes bid to avoid relegation from the Championship. Matthew Murray from the Barnsley Chronicle is on the line to give his take on the decision – plus discuss where it all went wrong for Hill.

Brentford lost their top-of-the-table League One clash with Tranmere at Griffin Park on Saturday, but still sit fourth ahead of next weekend’s FA Cup clash with West London neighbours Chelsea. We look forward to that game with Nick Bruzon, who writes in the Brentford programme and is a board member on Bees United, the Brentford Supporters Trust.

Plus, as well as reviewing the weekend’s action, we catch up with Dom Newton-Collinge from Bradford podcast ‘Bantams Banter‘, as Phil Parkinson prepares to take his side to Villa Park for that crucial Capital One Cup Semi Final second leg on Tuesday night.
