This week the boys review the final day of the Championship season, as Southampton crushed Coventry 4-0 at St. Mary’s to return to the Premier League after a seven year wait. Chris Rann, who writes about Saints for Shoot magazine is on the line to discuss their back-to-back promotions and look forward to life in the top flight under Nigel Adkins.

Elsewhere we preview Cardiff vs West Ham and Blackpool vs Birmingham in the play-offs, plus review our early season predictions. In League One, Chesterfield, Exeter and Wycombe are all relegated, whilst Sheffield Wednesday seize the initiative in the promotion race and Stevenage the advantage in the fight for the final play-off spot. We look forward to the final day of the season next Saturday.

In League Two Shrewsbury Town are promoted to League One after beating Dagenham & Redbridge 1-0 to complete an entire season unbeaten at home. Glyn Price from ‘The Blue & Amber Fanzine’ joins the boys to talk about Graham Turner’s first promotion with the Shrews since 1979, and the celebrations that followed – plus, we say farewell to Macclesfield Town as they are relegated from The Football League.

We’ve all that, plus Accrington Stanley against Rotherham in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy, and a nod to Graham Alexander signing off his career in style…
