Episode 31 – Les Parry leaves Tranmere

Just before Ronnie Moore was re-appointed as Tranmere boss late on Sunday night, the boys discussed the decision to sack Les Parry with Rovers bloggers Tom Kenny and Sam Robinson – and examined Moore and the other potential candidates.

In the Championship there was a weekend of great games, saves and goalmouth scrambles to review, including Southampton’s crucial win at Elland Road on Saturday evening. The boys also discussed the options for the Football League if Portsmouth do go out of business, and Jimmy Bullard’s latest misdemeanours.

In League One there were thrilling comebacks from Oldham and Bury, while Sheffield Wednesday have a new manager in Dave Jones – but can he get them over the line?

In League Two the ten men of Oxford defeat Swindon while Crawley stutter and Northampton give up another lead – plus we have Rochdale versus Derby in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy…
