Episode 30 – Heartbreak for Cardiff

This week the boys pay tribute to Cardiff as Liverpool scrape through a dramatic Carling Cup Final at Wembley by the skin of their teeth.

In the Championship, Southampton win at Watford to go back top – plus there’s big wins for Forest and Coventry to discuss, and a new contract for Brian McDermott at Reading.

In League One we catch up with Sheffield Wednesday blogger Carl Mullooly after a vital 1-0 win for the Owls in the Steel City derby, which should buy Gary Megson time until the end of the season. There’s also Keith Curle’s emails and a special t-shirt to discuss – see the picture here.

In League Two Aldershot blogger Morgan Applegarth is also on the line to discuss a return to form for Dean Holdsworth’s men, after they won for the fifth time on the spin against Barnet on Saturday.

There’s all that plus Torquay versus Leyton Orient in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy…
