Episode 29 – Lee Clark sacked

Lee Clark

Another one bites the dust. This week we assess the arguments for and against Huddersfield’s shock sacking of Lee Clark with Terriers blogger Charlie Johnson (who has written for The 72 and skysports.com) and John Dobson, football writer for The Two Unfortunates (amongst others).

In the FA Cup fifth round, we discuss Leicester’s superb win at Carrow Road, featuring another David Nugent beauty – and we also tip our hat to Birmingham and Stevenage, both of whom earned replays against Premier League opposition.

There’s virtually a full weekend of Football League action to get stuck into – plus reaction to the appointment of Neil Warnock at Elland Road, and the news that Portsmouth are back in administration once again. In League One, we look ahead to a crucial Steel City derby next Sunday at Hillsborough – plus Martin Allen’s sudden departure from Notts County.

There’s also a big win for Plymouth, a shocker for Dagenham and Macclesfield’s horror run to discuss in League Two, and a nod to the big game at Wembley next Sunday – Cardiff against Liverpool in the Carling Cup Final.

There’s all that plus Leicester versus Sheffield Wednesday in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy…
