Episode 28 – Blackpool bouncing back?

Despite another weekend of cold weather up and down the country, there’s plenty for the boys to get stuck into this week.

Blackpool are now up to fifth in the Championship and unbeaten in nine matches after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Portsmouth at Bloomfield Road. John Aspinall (presenter of ‘The Seasiders Podcast’) is on the phone to talk Ian Holloway, summer signings, post Premier League finances and comedy goalkeepers.

Elsewhere we catch up with journalist Adam Williams to hear about an eventful afternoon at Portman Road, plus one of the greatest tannoy announcements ever. There’s also a big win for Leicester, Hull’s impressive defence and the battle of the two baldest men in football at the Madejski.

In League One we catch up on the fortunes of the two Sheffield sides a fortnight before the derby at Hillsborough, plus in League Two chat to Torquay writer James Bennett to find out the reason behind their incredible six match winning streak. The answer? Paintballing.

There’s all that, Swindon at Wembley – plus West Ham versus Swindon in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy…
