Episode 26 – Brighton set for Anfield

Following their 1-0 defeat of Newcastle in the FA Cup, Gus Poyet’s Brighton & Hove Albion have been rewarded with a fifth round trip to Liverpool. This week the boys catch up with Seagulls fan Liam Dawes to reflect on the victory, and a mixed season so far in the Championship.

Elsewhere we pay tribute to Carling Cup finalists Cardiff, plus round up the rest of the FA Cup action – there’s another impressive win for Crawley, a new boss at Stevenage and a new wonderkid at Vicarage Road to look out for, in the form of Sean Murray. Watch this vid for more.

In the Championship, Reading and Portsmouth face very different financial futures – whilst in League One there’s an immediate impact for new boss John Coleman at Rochdale. They defeated rivals Bury 3-0 in his first game in charge. We catch up with our Dale blogger Jack Oldham for more.

In League Two we get excited about the promotion race as Cheltenham, Shrewsbury and Torquay record important wins – plus why is every ground a ‘difficult place to go’ and why is Graham Westley texting his players at 2am on a matchday?

There’s all that plus Charlton against Plymouth in the Allan Johnston Paint Trophy…
