Episode 14 – Sheridan, sort it out!


With Dougie Freedman’s Eagles flying high in the Championship after a 1-0 win at Ipswich on Saturday, Crystal Palace fan Ed Malyon (writer for The Mirror, Four Four Two and Goal.com) joined the boys this week to reflect on their terrific start to the season.

In League One it’s not quite as rosy for Chesterfield. Their 3-2 defeat to Hartlepool at the B2Net on Saturday was their fifth straight loss, and leaves John Sheridan’s men struggling in the relegation zone. Our Spireites blogger Will Strauss was on the line to give us the lowdown on a difficult start to life back in the third tier.

In League Two, Macclesfield Town are once again defying the odds to sit safely in mid table after a 1-0 win at Crewe on Saturday. We’re joined by our Macc blogger Matt Brown to talk Gary Simpson, the loss of Emile Sinclair and the discovery of Elliott Hewitt.
